Admissions Open House
Please join us on Friday, January 20 from 9:00 - 11:30 am for Kirk Day School's Admissions Open House. Registration begins at 9:00am followed by a short presentation by our Head of School, Director of Academics and Director of Admissions. After the presentation, we invite you to worship with us at Chapel and take a tour of the school. Please RSVP to reserve your place today!
VETERAN'S DAY CHAPEL
KDS students observed Veterans Day on Friday, November 11 with a special Chapel honoring our United States Veterans and thanking them for the sacrifices they have made to preserve our freedom. Many veterans from peacetime as well as those who have served in conflicts from World War II to the present joined us for a parade of veterans, a very special worship service, and a reception hosted by our fifth grade students.
KDS Biathlon & Alumni Fun Run
The KDS Biathlon is quickly becoming the most anticipated event of each school year! KDS students and alumni eagerly gathered together to bike & run to help raise money for KDS. But, more than that it was just plain FUN!
Highlander Fund Giving
The 2016-2017 Highlander Fund goal is $175,000. Your contribution to the Highlander Fund allows our students to experience a richer, deeper education, through resources, technology, instruction, and scholarship opportunities.
Boots & Bling Event
KDS parents enjoyed a boot scootin' good time at the Rocking J Ranch on April 22, 2016. The evening included western barbeque, auction, and dancing to the music by Pik'n Lik'n.
KDS Parents and faculty enjoyed a reception at the Kodner Gallery on February 19, 2016 to welcome Taylor and Katy Clement to the KDS community. Those in attendance enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and drinks surrounded by the beautiful works of art of the Kodner Gallery of Ladue.
KDS Night At The Magic House
Kirk Day School rented the entire Magic House on January 14, 2016 for an evening of fun and fellowship for our KDS community.
Gifted and Talented Education Series
Kirk Day School is hosting a free education series by Dr. Agnes Meyo and the Gifted Support Group. Dr. Meyo is St. Louis' preeminent Licensed Psychologist and advocate for gifted children and adults.
Parents and teachers of gifted students are invited to attend lectures on issues related to the challenges gifted children often face. This interactive series is free and open to family and friends.
Kirk Day School Receives National Recognition
Out of a national pool of more than 300,000 entries, two Kirk Day School students received awards in the 2014 National Handwriting Contest sponsored by Zaner-Bloser. Media teams from both PBS and the Higher Education Channel were present to capture this historic moment.
