Early Childhood
It is our belief that each child is a unique creation of God and is valuable in His sight. In considering each child as the unique person he or she is, it is our desire to provide a loving and caring environment that will foster an atmosphere for learning. Our program is based on meeting all the child’s needs: spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual. The program encourages individual development in each of these areas as we stimulate the children to learn.
The activities provided during the class day are designed to meet specific goals in each area of development. The children will develop social interaction skills in a Christian environment. They will develop physically as we provide a variety of activities for both large and small motor development. They will grow emotionally as they gain independence and confidence and begin to have control over their emotions. The biblically-based curriculum helps children learn that they are loved and cared for by God and engenders in them simple but important understandings of God, Jesus, and the Bible. They will grow intellectually as they learn how things work; listen to stories; and learn about numbers, shapes, and colors. They will grow and develop through play activities, putting toys away, outdoor play, circle time, arts and crafts, and even snack time. Their lives will be enriched, their horizons broadened, and their minds and bodies challenged.
