You are invited to take a personal tour of Kirk Day School and experience first hand what makes us different from others schools. Tours are scheduled on an individualized basis, at your convenience, during regular school days to give you the opportunity to actually see students engaged in the learning process. Your personalized tour will be led by Jennifer Rush, Director of Admissions and Advancement, who will share information about our programs and answer questions you might have. During your tour, we will step into classrooms to observe some of our students and top notch teachers in action.

Students in grades 1-6 who are interested in attending Kirk Day School are welcome to come and spend a morning in class with us. Many students who are planning on attending KDS find the shadowing experience not only helpful as they learn about our school, but encouraging as they make new friends and become more comfortable in a new educational setting.

Shadow Days are just one way KDS can assist your child to seamlessly transition into our school. Some new students choose to sign-up for one of our KDS Summer Camps allowing them an opportunity to develop new friendships while becoming more familiar with our facilities at the same time. Once your child has been admitted to KDS, our office staff will be happy to put you in touch with other parents of students in your child’s grade level, so you can arrange play dates for them before the start of school. Please let us know how we can assist you during the transition process.
