FULL-TIME

Elementary School Teacher

Kirk Day School is accepting applications for classroom teachers for the 2025-26 school year. We seek individuals who are driven by excellence, care deeply about their work, and have a passion for elementary aged students. If you believe KDS might be the place for you, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Membership or faithful attendance at an approved church congregation whose core beliefs are aligned with the Westminster Confession of Faith

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education

  • Willingness to be part of a dynamic team environment that believes in creative approaches to curriculum and pedagogy

  • Strong professional or collegiate references

PART-TIME

Substitute Teacher

Kirk Day School is seeking vibrant and versatile part-time substitute teachers. Candidates do not have to possess an education degree but should be individuals who love God, love children and have a passion for Christian education.

Front Desk Assistant

The Front Desk Assistant is the first point of contact for Kirk Day School, providing a warm and professional welcome to students, families, and visitors. This role supports daily office operations through attendance management, visitor sign-in, phone communication, and assisting with student and carpool needs.

Position Duties:

  • Work professionally and cooperatively with Office Team to create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all who call or come into the office for assistance

  • Attendance management including maintaining records for lunchroom and safety drills

  • Greeting all visitors and volunteers; monitoring the sign-in/out process

  • Answering phones and directing calls to KDS personnel

  • Assisting children when needing to contact a parent

  • Assisting with carpool as needed

  • Refer to Faculty Handbook for more responsibilities

Work Schedule & Hours of Work:

  • Days of work: When school is in session per the KDS Academic School Calendar

  • Hours of work: Th, F (8:00am – 3:00pm) 14 hours per week or 7 per day
